‘Investigation is going on’: CBI official on Kolkata rape and murder case

The 31- year old trainee doctor’s rape and murder in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital has invited large-scale protests by doctors groups and civil society. The Central Bureau of Investigation which visited the victim’s parents to record their statement said that the investigation is still underway.

What investigation? All the evidence is compromised / destroyed including the seminar room where the crime happened. If at all CBI is serious in investigating this case they should go after the motive behind this gange rape, murder, first calling it as suicide and then arresting one person as the accused. She knew something seriously illegal going on inside the hospital and someone wanted to silence her. This was the motive for the rape & murder.
