I'd like to see Ryu and/or Ken of Street Fighter 'wander' into the Tekken-verse now that we've seen how well they got Akuma playing in Tekken 7. Instead of Geese, bring Rock and/or Terry.

(These'd be the guest character suggestions)

I wouldn't believe the first image on its own, because the kanji is basically the same as it was in Tekken 7 and it's the one part of the logo that's never consistent. But with the second image, perhaps both of them are real. But, like Street Fighter 6, we knew Tekken 8 was coming thanks to nVidia, which should also tell us that the game will be coming to PC. Perhaps we'll get an announcement within the coming days. There are clear signs of embers in both images, so there's something in the teaser that's burning.

But as far as the reveal is concerned - how do you do a partial reveal of Tekken 8? By not giving out all the information. Like what Street Fighter 6 did. So I don't see any issue with the second picture. First, we get a teaser, then a full reveal at E3. Believable.

WW3 is coming soon but Harada has not changed his ways. If he says new games will always be announced at E3 that's where T8 will be.

Btw nice to see some TTT2 footage from you Vol

Plot Idea for Tekken 8:

Following the events of Tekken 7, Kazuya defeats Akuma and then flies off, leaving the volcano and back to the city. He seizes control of the Mishima Ziabatsu and merges G Corporation with it, having the entire military, financial and cutting edge biotech research within his control. Kazuya begins to rule over the world with Communism, Fear, an Iron Fist, and declares himself Emperor, killing anyone who stands in his way. He spreads corruption and evil similar to the way he did back in Tekken 2 when he was the leader of the Mishima Ziabatsu, but on a much larger scale and magnitude.
Those who protest or start online campaigns and petitions would be arrested and detained in an unknown location for interrogation. The leaders of any opposing political group would be publicly tortured and then executed, in order to deter the rest of the people from following in their footsteps. This also meant that Anna and Nina Williams would be forced to work for Kazuya as his chief spies, despite the sisters hating one another. Unlike Anna, Nina dislikes the policy Kazuya has set for the Organization (G Corp + Mishima Ziabatsu), though she never expresses it.
Kazuya, fuelled by his never-ending hatred, anger and resentment towards his father (even after his death), embarks on an evil journey to cause pain and suffering to everyone and everything around him, in order to vent out his tension. He still remembers events from over 20 years ago about how his grandfather was imprisoned, how he became motherless, how his mother intended for him to be assassinated, and how he was abused by his father as a child. In the beginning he did find love, but it never helped him and so he moved on. His memories only increased him in hatred.

Lars, Lee Chaolan, Alisa, and Jin are now declared wanted alive by the G Corp (now G Corporation & Mishima Ziabatsu combined), and hence are left alone to form a secret rebellion, relying on contacts within the G Corp and other government bodies, though it is difficult for them to trust anyone else. They meet at a rendezvous on top of a building and reflect on how the world has changed after the death of Heihachi, where Jin proposes to kill Kazuya. They then form their new hideout base underground somewhere in Japan in a rural area from which they use communications on a hidden frequency. They start recruiting every single person (civillian or soldier) in order to form a large enough team to infiltrate Kazuya's main headquarters.

2 years pass by as the rebel team expand their hidden network of spies. Media propaganda has tripled against the rebellion, condemning anyone and everyone to imprisonment who speak in the slightest favour of either Heihachi, Jin or disagreeing with the laws Kazuya has made.
Finally, Jin, Lars, Alisa, and Lee organize a collective effort to cause a national lockdown by means of a false nuclear alarm. The public soldiers get distracted while Lars and his rebel soldiers infiltrate the capital city where Kazuya's headquarters are located. The rebels fight their way to the Headquarters and eventually face Kazuya on the rooftop, who kills every soldier swiftly. Lars remains and the two proceed to battle. Kazuya tells Lars that there are no second chances after their last encounter at Azazel's temple. Kazuya grabs Lars by the neck, and throws him 200 yards away into a wall. Lars lies unconscious in a pile of rubble, and Kazuya approaches him to deliver the killing blow.
As Kazuya is about to kill Lars, Jin comes flying in to the rooftop, fly-kicking Kazuya. Kazuya blocks the attack and is pushed away by 30 meters. The two begin to battle and then eventually take it to the skies.

Whilst fighting, Kazuya recalls how he underestimated his son back in the honmaru temple, a mistake he will never make. Jin, using his full potential at this point, almost gains the upper hand against Kazuya. But Kazuya overpowers him and slams him into a canyon from 50 miles in the air.
Kazuya descends to the crash site, and finds a crawling Jin. Jin, who is wounded by the fight, tells Kazuya how his mother died because of him and how he renounces him as his father from what he was told as a child. Kazuya replies by asking where he was at the time when Jun was attacked by Ogre, then saying that he (Jin) stood out his house door and watched her die.

Kazuya walks towards Jin who has now passed out, and grabs him to drain his power. Before he does so, he gets flashbacks of how he once stood helpless against Heihachi as a child, how he was abused and scarred by his parent and how he was left abandoned for the later part of his childhood. Kazuya acknowledges that he had become worse than his father, and in the process, creating an even bigger monster if Jin survives. In that moment, he lets go of Jin, and becomes mindful of his hatred and frustration, standing in silence.
Jin regains consciousness 20 minutes later, and finds Kazuya standing in silence right in front of him. He tells Jin that he has transmitted a signal and sent a message to his top corporation officials that he is handing the corporations and military over to him as his successor, and that an evac will be coming for him. Kazuya then tells Jin to undo what he had caused. After this, Kazuya flies off into the distance at hypersonic speed.

After 20 months, the G Corporation is shut down, and their employees work under the now reformed Mishima Ziabatsu. Evil had ended and now there is peace, freedom of speech (within reasonable limits), and prosperity. Jin, the head of the Ziabatsu, marries Xiauyu and has a baby daughter, and live a moderate lifestyle, sparing as much money as possible to spend on the public.

Meanwhile 10 years later, somewhere far away in a rural area in Tibet in a mountainous region, a now calm Kazuya Mishima, living in exile, meditates for most of his time. Having let go of his hatred and resentment for his dead father whom he has forgiven by now, he has now managed to accept himself. He lives in a small wooden house by the side of a steep hill, and picks vegetables from a small farmland 10 minutes away. The few locals that live in this region know him simply as the silent man, mainly because of how rarely he speaks to anyone. He has married a woman who helped him let go of his pain during his early days in Tibet, and a 7 year old son whom he calls Boi. He trains him in the ways of Mishima Style Martial Arts and how to control his powers, as he is a hybrid race like his father, and has kept his past life hidden from his child until he feels the time is right. Kazuya is aware that the remnants of his mother's clan (Kazumi's clan) are still alive and hence a possible threat in the future.

Tekken 1: revenge plot, basic tournament

Tekken 2: revenge plot, tournament organized by gangster who want more power

Tekken 3: coming of age, unexplained phenomena, new generation sign up for revenge on loved ones attacked by ogre

Tekken 4: revenge plot, basic tournament again, gangster son wants revenge on dad, son finds out everyone in his family is a pos. Begins the bloodline conflict

Tekken 5: continuation of tekken 4, tournament held by mysterious Mishima family member. Plot not too relevant, just gives an explanation as to Jin’s motive in tekken 6.

Tekken 6: no more tournament, plain chaos. People killing each other so that an ancient creature can be summoned so that Jin can kill it because it was the provider of the devil gene. All associated with Mishima are bad guys but lars. Lars acts as the NEW Jin but doesn’t quite take his place in the franchise.

Tekken 7: presumably final battle between father and son, no tournament again. Just a recap of major events. World finds out they live among demons.

This brings us to tekken 8.
Since akuma s role in tekken 7 was a huge impact on the story instead of being just a simple guest character, I hope tekken 8 gives us the greatest demon hunter in videogames and he is also a skilled martial artist too, // please introduce RYU HAYABUSA from DOA / ninja Gaiden. His role is to exterminate all demons, kazuya, Jin, akuma, have him be the main villain of the game (even though he’s a good guy) causing the Mishima bloodline to team up against a bigger threat. The master ninja whose strength comes from his training, nit some curse in his blood.

If its real, it's likely an announce happens at EVO.

A sweet 3 second trailer showing the title and nothing of substance, since Harada loves that shit

Tekken fans just feel left out of the hype since SF6 recent announcement. There’s nothing to talk about as far as Tekken goes at the moment, pack it up

You think it's going to be tekken 8? Tekken x street fighter? New Tekken tag?

If the rumor is real then the tekken 8 logo looks just like the jujitsu Kaisen 0 logo

I don't think the Tekken 8 logo is authentic, but it still looks decent.

I just came across a news article stating that TEKKEN 8 is released for arcades in Japan almost one year ago. I don’t know if this is real or fake. The link is in the reply section.

Oh it comes from 4Chan??? Well then! I was going to give this the benefit of the doubt. Oh well! Never mind I guess. Do some research on the dubious reputation of 4Chan and you'll understand why people tend to discredit anything that comes out of there.
