Can we please stop the "underperforming Sainz" narrative?
Carlos finished the 2021 season ahead of Charles, his first season in Ferrari. Last year Charles finished ahead of Carlos. This year Carlos has been consistently ahead of Charles...With these two drivers Ferrari has ruthless aggression from Charles and reliable consistency from Carlos. You have two number one drivers Ferrari... Don't bugger it up please.
Instead nurture your two talents that will take your team to the future. There should be no Charles vs Carlos, there should only be Ferrari vs the rest of the grid.

Here's the thing, Ferrari could try to call it off... and Sainz would probably ignore them. Sainz has disobeyed team orders on multiple occasions, and in fairness it often has worked out pretty well for him and team. Same with Leclerc. Ferrari do not have control of their drivers.

Matt is completely wrong on this take! They didn't have any serious treat on their behind. That's why, it is different situation compared to Austria etc. They also told Leclerc to hold off on Saudi GP. Again, people are acting like Leclerc is the boy, but they are fair to both drivers. The only problem is that Sainz always cries and act like he deserves better treatment. He should have driven better last year when they have the car when they have a competitive one. The only race win he has is the gifted Silverstone if we are being honest.
Carlos and his father and even his whole family just bring so much drama and politics. They don't speak to Sky Sports and then they talk all the drama and bad things to Spanish media. They are just dirty, that's all!

I don't know if it would be called off, Silverstone last year showed to me that Carlos definitely has some political pull in the team. Also I don't really see how Leclerc gets preferential treatment, Ferrari seems to treat them both equally "well" in their own Ferrari way
