This video and the others in this road trip perfectly illustrate the many things needed to become a great photographer. But for me there's one over-riding characteristic that you consistently show, on top of the obvious talent, vision and technical know-how, and that is commitment. The level of commitment involved in this epic road trip is simply off the scale; it's what separates you from the rest and you are getting the results your commitment deserves, with some stunning landscape images. Do you use anything like Maps or Google earth to prospect potential nice locations remotely before visiting? or do you only follow your mood of the day?

I enjoyed the contact and photography as always but you mention the busy roads then say the good roadside spots are taken early, do you see a theme? Over tourism on limited and remote areas!
Then you park across the path! that's rather selfish no wonder roadside campers get a bad name.
