now, what exactly is project scope? project scope is defined as the boundaries your project will be operating on in terms of resources, coverage of activities and implementation, and in terms of achievement of goals and objectives. Every project scope must be clearly defined and should be well documented for project success. The project scope doesnt always have to be one statement, but the whole point is for everybody and stakeholders alike to fully agree on everything to do with the project scope.

This is important because it helps define how much can be achieved given the limited resources on hand.
