The world government is typically referred to as “the world” so it’s very possible that Loki wants to destroy the world government, in which case he’s an ally.

Not only do the villains usually not refer to their comrades as "friends", but Blackbeard in particular made a big speech (specifically to Kuzan) about how he and his crew are explicitly NOT friends at all and only have shared interests.

I love the idea of Loki being a happy little potato at first but after getting rejected by Lola, dude jumped back into the gym put all that pain into exercising, training, and fitness which gave him the bod he has today.

While Loki hating kindness does make some sense, I personally think that part of Loki taking the fall is that he wants to preserve the peace that Harold created. Even if that peace was based on a lie, it may ultimately be for the best for their children. Provided of course that the threat of the world government is dealt with.

I forgot that in whole cake we learned that luffy's observation haki was more about empathy than future sight so that's why he had such good judgement of character. So the idea of loki actually being a good guy makes a lot more sense.

I don’t think Harold was intentionally weakening his country I think this is a case of him just being too honestly kind. Like the Vicky the Viking mindset taken to the extreme. Thus Loki associates kindness with weakness and maintains this over the top persona to protect his home from outsiders.

Every post time skip arc has mirrored a pre time skip one in order and we're up to thriller bark. My bet is that Loki is a direct mirror of Kuma, someone who was originally seen as a big threat but who's actions ended up saving the straw hats, even if they didn't realise in the moment

The Snail Loki talks to is specifically called a snow resistant type which explains why it’s covered in fur. He’s never actually met this person either so like Luffy he’s calling them by the appearance of the snail, hence Shaggy.

Loki didn't kill his father. King Harold had a philosophy of pacifism similar to Oden, which got him killed by the Holy Knights/Gorosei, and Loki couldn't understand why his father wouldn't fight back. Loki was framed for the murder just like Sabo, and hates both pacifism and the WG because of how those things took his father.

Its good to keep in mind as well, when luffy first met blackbeard he was immediately on edge before BB even said anything and only got more and more in gear as BB talked and that's before he had any awareness of his broken abilities but with loki he treated him as an old friend that he hasn't seen in a long time kind of like how he was with Uta.

Loki's father knew the WG was coming for them because of that devil fruit and worried that if WG gets that power everything will be doomed and Loki overheard his father then got a crazy idea. Loki's idea is " what if I kill you father, hide that fruit and make people think I ate it so if WG comes for me they would get nothing " or something like that

If Oda merges the Loki from myth and MCU, that would make sense
