Bezels keep getting thinner and thinner, but that darn notch/hole punch still remain- unless, of course, we put the camera under the display like with the new $800 ZTE Axon 40 Ultra. Let's unbox and review it!

A former friend of mine had a zte phone back in 2013-2014 with android 4.1.2, the phone wasn’t the best but I have fun memories playing Minecraft pe on it 😆

When you talk about the popup selfie camera "Still not ideal" LOL and having a camera where it looks like vaseline is all smeared over it is ideal? Like I don't want a selfie camera that has to go through tons of AI processing to look good. I have a phone with a popup selfie camera and it's been going strong 2 years now. Still works fine.

It's weird to think though that for 2 years now while I've had this phone, people have been clamoring for the removal of the camera taking up screen real estate and I'm already living that life lol I wish popup cameras had taken off more. But I think they didn't because, it was either people thinking they were fragile ("oh no not moving parts!") or maybe stuff to do with cost (to the company, not the consumer, my phone was only $300) or water resistance. Idk. Though I also know on tear down videos, my phone has a rubber seal around the camera. But it's not something I want to test and I've never needed to use my phone in water or the rain anyway.
