AI and skills - the debate

Embedding emerging technology into working practice is often seen as a catalyst for innovation. But by simply equipping employees with AI - allowing, for example, app developers to instruct AI tools to build applications - do we risk kidding ourselves that we’re building a workforce fit for the future? Are we just lightening people’s workloads, rather than creating the conditions to inspire innovation?
