By far and away, my largest 2022 holding was $TSLA. It went down 70% that year, and I got laid off from my job on January 20th 2023. Being down nearly 50% in net worth did not help the psychology of getting laid off. A lot of people have had a rough time in 2022, child or no. Just stick in there. Next CPI could have a 5-handle and things will rebound if you hold quality companies. I'd say my biggest mistake is underestimating interest rates & the bond market's effect on equity valuations and the labor market. Thankfully CPI seems to be (finally) cooling. We can see the light on the other side of the tunnel 🙏

FYI I already have 5 interviews to high-paying jobs and fantastic severance. Let's take a moment to recognize that our lives are pretty good, stock market losses or no, compared to a lot of places on this Earth.
