In 2000, the US Mint inserted 10M Cheerios 2000-P Pennies into Cheerios Cereal boxes BUT only 5,500 of the new "gold" Sacagawea Dollars were also placed into the boxes. These were struck with a different die than the regular 2000-P dollar coins and less than 200 have been found and graded. In this video, I will show you how to spot one!

I think you are leaving out one important factor. The Cheerios coin came in a wrapper, if the coin is out of the wrapper it’s not worth the money you claim!

I get $40 in dollar coins a day from the car wash, in search for the Cheerios. Have for 3 or so years. . I’ve got probably every president dollar without edge lettering. That’s all I’ve managed to find.

I was there when they were placed in the cheerios boxes at Buffalo ny. It was an interesting promo with many consequences, I never got the dollar in one of my cheerios boxes but I do have the Penny.

Wasn't lucky enough to get a sac dollar but still have two cents in their original holder.I remember seeing open Cheerios boxes in the cereal isle back in 2000.Would like to get atleast the best one graded eventually.Probably never happen.

Rob, very educating video, BUT I must say you have the smallest hands I have ever seen, pointing out the extra feathers on the coin--kind of reminds me of Kristen Wiig on SNL with the smallest hands skit. Just saying.
