Programming Your Shaw remote

Ever wonder how to program the button functions on your Shaw Direct remote control. The easy to understand tutorial gives you the ability to program the remote to control your TV (some exceptions apply). Turn it on and off and control volume all with one remote. Enjoy.

This worked great! I’ve been going to all the sites trying to find the right code and man that sucked nothing was working. First try this worked! I did go to fast so has to do it a second time and press the channel buttons slower, but perfect on that try. Thank you!!! Wish I’d come here first lol

Problem with step 1 when I press the tv button the stat button lights up not the tv button

That’s fine to turn tv off and on but I’m trying to program volume in and nothing will work. I follow instructions with remote and does not work. So frustrating.
