Hello, David! Ohio here. Thank you so much for answering my question about toxic positivity! I think I got it completely wrong! Lol! I was thinking it was more like when I used to share with someone, something that my husband had just done, and they would say maybe he just had a bad day, or was tired, or he never acts like that with me, or maybe you expect too much from him, all invalidating to me. I know they were just trying to be helpful, but they weren’t! Hope you had the best weekend! 😎❤️

Thank you for answering the question about the planned discard. You are right. Possibly it is a blessing. I will not drown with the sinking ship, so to say. I heard about him through another person (lovely unhealthy way of communication...) and it seems he is suddenly a completely different person. Another favorite person who takes care of him, another life, changed like a chameleon. But still a feeling of emptiness and not seen. Nobody can fill the void, ever, right?

Also I will now sign the pétition. I'm not afraid to say that I didn't wanted to sign because I was afraid that despite the good intention, it will just cause more censorship, but I was wrong.

Back then, bullying stopped when you got back home, and you still could stop it yourself, old fashion way, but today, it's not possible, bullying follow people everywhere. And it's wrong.

Edit: I've 2 kids myself (who are adults) and 2 grandkids, my daughter who have these kids and her boyfriend, their father, don't let them play with a tablet or let them watch the tv all day long.

They watch cartoon movies on a small tv with a vhs video incorporated in it. I'm sure you remember these TV, they watch things like looney tunes, Disney cartoon from the 90s or early 2000s, and stuff like this, when they can't go outside.

My daughter stopped working and will return when they will be going to school in a few years. They go outside every single days, and I'm really proud and happy for them. But one day, they will be on Internet when they will be old enough.

I would be very angry if it happens to them and did nothing about it. I will feel I let them down. That's why I finally signed the pétition. Children don't deserves this .

Pennsylvania, The borderline I dated told me she treated me the way that she felt about me. What she meant was extreme hatred for no apparent reason. I tried, forever to prove how good I was by helping her clean her car, dishes etc. Nothing, I did was ever good enough. On top of that she slept with all my friends and co-coworkers and told them I was the problem. Pure insanity!!!

Hi, David! Could you please talk about being more cynical after this kind of abuse? I can remember in France, having a beautiful dinner by the sea, and an older couple walking by, holding hands and hugging. New Question (again, Germany, near Cologne ) Why is it, that many borderlines live in a marriage or rekatiinship over years before they switch to the dark side and seriously start with devaluation and discard? I read it so often. Is it stress related or what other causes could start this.

Why do I struggle with ordinary things everyday like taking care of myself?
I won't forgive my mom for never teaching me how to take care of myself, she has gone out of her way to teach me not to ask for help. Whenever I am sick, the first thing she always says is at least the medication Is cheap.
How do you teach yourself how to take care of yourself if you don't really know what to look out for.
Why does C-Ptsd cause chronic pain? It feels like I'm itching inside my body.

David, thank you for answering my questions, and the compassion you've shown. My question for this evening concerns whether you're aware of the existence of any data that has shown if/when Borderlines ever gravitate towards those who also have personality disorders. I ask because my ex was with a man for many years who fit the criteria for sociopathy. His behaviors were so awful... and it was one or the things that shadowed my recognition of her BPD-- she had obviously been traumatized-- now, the thing I am uncertain of (and will likely never really know), is how much of what I saw in her was BPD, and how much was from experiencing trauma in this previous relationship with a man whose behaviors had to be either sociopathic, or psychopathic. He enjoyed lying and inflicting pain on others. It had to add on layers of damage... I just wonder if there are examples in literature of anything similar.

Hi David. I'm from Newcastle, Australia. this video is interesting as I'm a prison officer. And see the lowest of low in people. Is it taught behavior? How do we break the cycle of it. People learn this because it is taught to them. thank you for what you do again. i sent you a message on your last video post. Hi David, healing family from California again. When the borderline self sabotages and abandons us for fearing abandonment in my case, he told me he was leaving cuz he felt empty, cold, stressed, confused, scared, lost, like a truck ran over him etc. but then they go straight into the next partner. R they entering that next relationship feeling the same empty, cold, lost, stressed, etc ? Or r they entering that new relationship feeling a little better ? Just want ur thoughts cuz ur thoughts t the best there is out there by far any online coach here? Thank u
