Crazy how City was able to play that well without Haaland

Props to TT for mentioning Yaya Toure. In his prime, Toure was quite possibly the most complete football ever in terms of attacking, midfield control and defending.

Why doesn't Bernardo Silva get the praise he deserves, the lad is unmatched

Thierry knows his football to a T. Free kick? Spot on. Yaya and David Silva to Rodri and KDB? Spot on. D Silva and KDB are the silky skills and passes that catch the eye, Yaya and Rodri are the backbone that keeps the team upright.

I’m so happy Henry mentioned Toure. Such an under rated player and legend for the epl/City. Toure used to run the entire man city team and score 20+ goals in a season as a holding defensive midfielder. Such a tank so strong beautiful technique and just class. Penalty taker free kicks he would do it all. Love you Yahya Toure

Valverde, modric, should’ve been discussed here because these 2 players play way better and the fact that modric just changed how we played for a only a couple minutes is insane ( also Rodrygo should’ve been mentioned here to because he has been just consistent on scoring recently)

This panel is underrated, even with the plaudits they get. They can be both the funniest and most analytical group at the drop of a hat. Very impressive chemistry and work from the four of them.

Vini was “quiet” but still managed to get 2 assists

You can see the amount of respect this crew has for each other and more so fascinating how TT gets technical and they all listen to his opinion. Best sports crew hands down. And yes, England on paper does have the best national team which poises the challenge of playing them all and bringing out the best

I absolutely love how Kate Abdo despite being the host lets the panelists have their discussion uninterrupted and without guiding it in a specific direction while still maintaining the overall outline that particular segment was supposed to maintain, it’s a great watch truly

Madrid is not just history mate they have elite players.. never panic. Never. They play the game minute by minute and every minute is a possibility for a goal. They defend, attack, possess, do everything when needed..

I would like to see Modrić, Diaz and Guler playing more important parts in the second leg Carlo must not be scared to experiment with them

This is my favorite group as I’m the the type of person that rarely watch other sports coverage but something about this CBS Champion League pundits compliment each other in their chemistry.
