We used BJU Chemistry this year for my daughter. We're in BC and it covers all the Gr. 11 Chem requirements and most of the Gr. 12 requirements (supplementing with Hebden Chemistry for Gr. 12). BJU is expensive but there is a video lesson for each lesson in the textbook, there are online quizzes and tests (most of which is automatically marked), plenty of equations work and a dashboard for the student and teacher to track their progress in the course. The course was expensive but she had to teach herself, we had no chemistry background to help. She went from struggling through the first chapter (it took three weeks to understand it!) to now consistently getting 85% and marching through the chapters in just over a week. She wants to go into the medical field so Chem 11 and Chem 12 were musts so it's the only course we spent so much money on (other than Sonlight) but it has been really worth it .We used Apologia Biology for Gr. 11 Biology and she loved it and she's going to use Apologia for Anatomy and Physiology but I would use BJU for Chem and probably Physics at the high school level. She is naturally a weak math and chemistry student so I would highly recommend BJU based on how it has gotten her through chemistry!
