Six years ago, China’s President Xi Jinping announced plans for a new city, Xiongan, 100 kilometers from the capital.
Originally pitched to ease some of the pressure on Beijing, Xiongan gives authorities a chance to experiment with creating an ideal futuristic city.

just the idea of a bus that doesnt make you pay, even if you already paid with taxes or whatever, it just makes life so much easier. i would use my local college bus at uc santa cruz and never had to pay up front, thats how all buses should be in america... they act like someone is gonna "steal" transportation ...you cant exploit it... even if you "brought a crowd of people" to take advantage? youre still just using a bus... why is a free bus so hard to do? are they afraid of too many people using the bus?
