driving the entire Stelvio Pass, in the rain with a manual Porsche GT3, with the new 4.0 engine. highlights are the rear wheel steering for the tight turns, excellent shifter, very good brakes (sometimes felt like I needed more brakes)... a fantastic car.

One of the most exhilarating sports cars on the road right now. Love it!

i genuinely dream every day of owning a manual gt3 touring. i did not know of the flatshift gimmick. the PDK pop when flat upshifting the manual make it even more appealing. what a car! Nice color

absolutely the best all-rounder, love the leather wrap option on steering column

nice one, would love to try out a GT3 manual because I heard a lot of times that Porsche manuals are great. Have a 944, but I don't think it's a fair comparison :-D

stelvio pass is just to damn narrow and you have to watch out for oncoming traffic all the time :/ nevertheless, the alps is still the home of some of the best driving roads...

Great video. Well done. Look forward to see more. I too have been enjoying my new manual GT3, and have fallen in love with the no-lift shifting and also the launch control feature... have you had a chance to try launch control? If not give it a try. One question... are you driving on the cup 2 tires in the rain and how do they perform in the wet. I have installed Michelin sport 4S before taking delivery of the car, as I took delivery in January and it is very wet here in the Northwest area in the US and just put back the cup 2 tires 2 weeks ago, so I did not have a chance to experience them in the wet and was curious of your impressions of them in the wet. Again great video and look forward to your experience of the cup2 tires in the wet. Mark

Driving a gt3 on very wet road like this..with close cliffs...not the most relaxing enviroment for a nice drive

Is it gulf blue? Looks great, wish Porsche offered it as one of their standard colours.

Allzeit gute Fahrt!

Did you get a ticket for speeding in the tunnel at the end? I always assumed tunnels are absolutely covered in cameras and very strict with speed limits because accidents tend to be horrific, I'm just wondering if they have understanding for GT3 owners

Flat shifting is shifting without lifting the gas pedal right?

Great drive! But please, no music! The car is the only sound we need!

Hello man, really nice video, I was wondering what time of year it was when you filmed It ?
I wanted to go at the Stelvio this year but I'm afraid to go and the snow block the road if I go in March

Oh one more question if you don’t mind. You mentioned you turned traction control off, but kept ESC on. How do you do that. It is the other way around, you could turn ESC off and keep traction control on, or you have the option to turn both off. Was that a typo? Please let me know as I always was curious how to turn traction off and keep ESC on, but it does not seem possible on the GT3. Mark

You don´t need more brakes- you need more grip braking..

"sometimes felt like I needed more brakes" .. Why??

Funny you are bashing the Corvette and 964 Turbo drivers. However, these cars are much more snappy in wet conditions. They are driving sensible, and adjust to the weather conditions. Not like grannies. Don’t forget the age difference, and their lack of Nannie technology, unlike your car…

💩music, you'd better leave just the engine sound
