I have one of these since last winter. I use it every day on my desk. It is for all my programming notes; if important I simply take a pic of it. Best desk accessory I have.

i use this a lot as scratch paper for math problems (it's better than a tablet size dry erase board, cuz they are messy) and for pre-sketching stuff to make or build, so that the proper paper sketch doesn't have so many corrections, scratch outs, or erasing smudges on it

I use it often. The primary use for me is a scratch pad. Example phone calls, products to review, etc. The rare moments I desire to keep a note longer than 10 minutes, I snap a photo and place it into Evernote. Or use there app to save as a photo. My goal was to move away from paper.

if it has still a palm scratch problem, not gonna buy then. thought of buying this for math practice. now I realize it's not gonna work the way I imagined. thanks for the great and honest feedback. this definitely looks like new from the box, unlike other videos who pretends.

JB that is an apocalypse tablet meant to be use in remote places that do not require electricity 😉. As for your Quaderno you may want to consider acquiring the Fujitsu ScanSnap scanners (available in a few models) to complement it. You can scan hard copy documents to read and store in your device. The Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300i with the smallest footprint will not take up too much space on your desk.

I think this would make a great add-on for the fridge, white board/chore board for the kids. Erases cleaner than dry-erase! I might have to get one, unless you want to just send us yours ;)

Coach; maybe hang in common area for notes to other family members or mini grocer list to jot items while at fridge. Or, lol; stick with the iPad and reMarkable lol.

If you have a reMarkable I would just stick with that. I would return boogie board because that palm rejection isn’t great. Maybe good for kids? But glad you review it because I was curious to see how far it has changed. Also for remarkable you can trace too. Just put the image on top of remarkable and trace it.

There is no Palm scratch problem. He has a watch on and a bunch of accessories on his wrist. They scratch the surface as he moves his palm across.

Maybe use it with a projector during a seminar or conference for brainstorming ideas? Old school-LOL! Stick with the reMarkable!!

Great review. Would NOT buy it under any circumstance even at that price. I would want to have something where I can move items into another section after completed, so I still would prefer a detachable tablet with OneNote as a method of doing "To Do" notes.
For this item I recommend they should ALSO have an exact same version called a Whiteboard and not have it so dark as how would one use it in low light to be even able to see what is on it?
Also the button to erase seems to erase the whole page....that is NOT good if one wants to erase only one item when completed or erase one and rewrite it in another location.
It is nice that it has two sides, which means if you decide on which 2 of the 4 pages you like best, then both can be slid inside with the sides facing outwards of the two pages you usually like best. I would consider it, if it also came in a white version to be able to SEE it better.
Would the palm rejection which fails be able to work better if one used one of those partial gloves that one could put on just to write on it? That would mean a buyer would have to pay for that as well which would make it effectively MORE expensive, so the board with 4 pages should come with a glove like that. Maybe it should be $50 and come with two clear pockets so all 4 pages can be used, 2 in each. If they sold black versions and white ones they would soon see how many of each go first.

The etch a sketch thing made me laugh. The only thing I can think of is to help children who are learning to write or as a teaching aid of some kind, if showing how to do some arithmetic or algebra 🤷🏻‍♀️ it recognising the palm thing is not good!

But in terms if what it could be use for...

I'm thinking as a scribble pad for things you don't really want to save - eg to do lists, bullet points for videos or presentations, the MAIN task you want to work on for the day, etc - it could be great!

I often need something just to scribble on, but don't necessarily want to save it on a device like the Remarkable 2!
