Story time.

I once met an old lady at a Taco Cubana. They called her order and I decided to bring her food to her since she was visibly very old. She invited me to talk and we chatted for a bit. Her name was Mary Lou and she was 84 years old.

Thinking of a way to connect with her I mentioned these songs which I love. Her eyes lit up and she talked excitedly about listening to these on the radio when she was a girl. I told her about the Fallout games and she was blown away that the music she loved was still popular with others. She said it's good to know that a part of her life still lives in the world and will continue to be in the lives of young folk.

That interaction was in 2019. I often think about her when I heard this music and I really hope she's doing well.

Additionally, my great grandmother, the last time I was visiting her before she passed away she was listening to The Wanderer by Dion. She and the other old folks were groving to the music.

The older generation has some of the best music.
