This is literally what happened everytime Goku had ultra instinct sign in the anime.

What I like about ultra instinct is that it works perfectly for saiyans. Almost every saiyan scales their power over the course of the battle, slowly getting stronger I assume it's some deep desire for strength, as the longer saiyans fight the stronger they get. Ultra instinct is a form that only came out at the end of the battle when it seemed lost so it would be their absolute last push.

Personally though I think they need to add forms for humans or at least a way for them to get stronger
