just got back from SGN for a month because the monthly visa runs were just not viable long term so this is bloody brilliant news if this comes in this yr then can do half a yr there, half yr here and semi retire there! woohoo

That's good news! I just arrived in Vietnam a few days ago to look for an English training-center gig. Unfortunately, after being here for a few days, I've realized that Vietnam is just not for me. I guess that it's a combination of the constant noise, the endless sea of motorbikes, the blazing sun, and the dog-eat-dog attitude. It doesn't help that a lot of these training centers have such an imbalanced workload - e.g. a 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. shift on the weekdays and a fvcking 7:45 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. shift on Saturdays. All of this for a mediocre salary that a person from The Philippines, India, Russia, Morocco, etc. would readily accept.

I might keep tuning into your channel for the heck of it, though.
