I learned early on to not "cruise" beside a big rig. I would wait behind it until I had plenty of room to fully pass, and then hit the gas and passed it quickly.

no, the trucker knew, intuitively, that the driver of the white car was NOT paying attention, and he was not about to let that lack of awareness in front of him, to disrupt forward traffic, and/or create a hazard down the road. 100% on board with that, though I doubt the driver got the msg...the cammer didn't seem to get it, either

I was taught if you can't see the driver reflected in his side mirror, he can't see you.

In Australia if you cant see their mirrors they cant see you. Doesn’t work in this case tho 😮
