Live the channel and I feel your pain! I was having good luck buying clean cards from Ebay and getting Gems. Lately Ive been getting cards with surface issues and/or scratches. Think Im done buying raw cards on Ebay for now and Im gonna focus on getting more of the cards I have graded. Thx for sharing

I’ve only had one card with insane scratching. Nothing crazy like a 2017 trout xfractor. But like I don’t understand how it could
Of even been that scratched. Blew my mind. MERCARI didn’t do anything for me. Have you tried using any scratch remover like turtle wax or plastic scratch remover? Sometimes it works for the not too deep scratches.

Beckett is very fast right now. I sent a 2005 black refractor jay-z card that was covered in surface statches. Still got a gem mint. Lol

i think I bought a centered blue saphire volpe last week still waitin for it but hopefully looks it, looks like dudes dumpin mohomes cards this week seen a few blue donruss roookie 180$ today last week couldnt find for under 350 crazy

ive never returned a card eighther but been gettin some bullshit! i ask ahead of time also overpay for a good condition card and get cards that look like they were found in a sewer, i sell raw cards too i would never send out some of the cards i bought without mentioning these scratches n major dings grabbin as much Brady as i can afford you should get that brady heritage 2002 refractor awesome card very rare

Love these videos, always good to get the wheels spinning on things to be looking for. Question, when you go through your process of selecting candidates to send to PSA what do you do with your rejects. Just relist on ebay and take a little loss? Thanks!

Bgs probably best bet I'd say hopefully ohtani cleans up a little bit. When ever I sell a big card not that I have many but I always grade just so buyer knows what they are getting.

Fuck that, if the seller say its "clean surface" and it comes with all kinds of scratches/lines, I would try to get my money back.

At 1:13 you say they have "Roller Marks" Can you show this or explain it? if the card has roller marks it get a 9 or 8 ?

Does PSA give the minimum grade option with express. (If it doesn’t grade at least a 9, you want it sent back raw)

I Would love for you to tell me how I did with my next purchase if everything goes good I Will have the deal complete on THURSDAY 10/28 It is a lot of 30 cards 12 are graded 2 of the graded are Brady RC and I believe 10 of the non graded are BRADY which i believe 2 of those are RC's also. One of the graded cards is a Larry Bird. They are being sold by a friend that I grew up with he said he wants $400 for all but will take $300. His health is poor and he knows I collect so he wanted me to have first chance at them.

With those Bowman chrome issues I would REALLY consider using BGS. If you surface issues at least you can shoot for a sub grade of 9 surface and have the other subs potentially pull you up to a BGS 9.5. I know it's not a PSA 10 but your BGS 9.5 (especially in the baseball collecting community for Bowman Chrome autos) is actually popular and will hold a higher premium vs a PSA 9 - could help you break even or actually make some $$ ;-)
