Sia's 'Elastic Heart' Dancing with the Stars Performance with Julianne & Derek Hough

Sia served as a live vocal accompaniment for Julianne and Derek Hough’s performance to “Elastic Heart” on Dancing with the Stars and chills were given.
The finger bighting finale of DWTS just went down, SPOILER ALERT, congrats to the season 20 winner Rumer Willis & pro Val! Let’s just say that the other winners of the night were Sia, Julianne and Derek Hough – and the mini mes – with their crazy awesome performance of “Elastic Heart.”
Sia remained physically under the radar per usual, in the corner of the set, but of course she sounded amazing. And actually despite not being able to see her face under her curtain hair, she looked really good – with a badass pinstriped blazer and a hat.
Meanwhile Derek and Julianne Hough performed a really creative piece to “Elastic Heart” alongside these two talented young dancers to make it look as though the young dancers were Julianne and Derek as kids in a side by side stage set that gave off a really cool visual. Props to the creative direction man.
The performance actually started in reverse thanks to movie or TV magic, which gave this really trippy illusion as though they were actually dancing in reverse with reverse flying furniture and man if you were not fully paying attention and or intoxicated, your mind was blown trying to figure out what was going on.
Then it continued in real time and focused on young Julianne and Derek for a little, then adult versions, before showing both sides dancing in sync. There was a fun moment when Julianne actually backed up into the child reality side and then launched back into her adult reality. How cool was that??
Then Julianne kind of swung from a Chandelier which was a ridiculously enjoyable reference given the presence of Sia chillin’ in the background. The performance ended with everyone throwing furniture and falling out on the ground, and Sia with her curtain hair, it really just served life and was extremely entertaining.

Derek and Julianne Hough did amazing. I was so proud of her when I watched it and thought, "Wow. these are the next versions of Corny Collins and Sandy Young from Hairspray Live and Grease Live!" It was emotional, heartwarming and is the definition of beautiful. Derek, he is the most sweetest and most amazing dancer that I've ever seen and the way he is really nice to all his fans. Julianne, one year later she will become Ariel Moore in the 2011 remake of Footloose and the most prettiest dancer I've ever seen. She amazed me with her vocals in Grease Live and is a pretty great actress that I definitely look up to. They are awesome and I wanted to meet Julianne Hough if I ever get into Season 15 of America's Got Talent.
