We love you all so much, thank for watching and sharing quilting with us for so many years. I filmed my mom on a cell phone for 8+ years and truly enjoyed spending every minute with her. She was such a caring, funny person full of joy and had such a passion for quilting. We loved sharing everything with all of you.

Donna's Son,
James

I cried for a lady I never met but felt like I knew from the many tutorials I have watched. My sympathy to the Jordan family. She will be deeply missed.

I know you can’t possibly read all of the 14, 000 messages, but I have a request. Please don’t ever take Donna’s videos down. Leave them on YouTube so that we can enjoy them forever. I can’t tell you how many times I have watched her videos over and over, simply because she is so enjoyable to watch and listen to, and an incredible teacher. I have bought so many of her patterns (and fabric) from Jordan Fabrics because of her videos, and I have never been disappointed with the quality and speed of service. I know it is going to be so hard for Donna’s family to lose her. She was a one-in-a-million person, and we were so lucky to have her for the time that we did. Best wishes to Matt, James, and her other family and friends and I wish you all comfort and healing at this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. I found myself crying for a lady I never met but who provided me (and many more like myself) with the inspiration to quilt. Thank you Donna. Blessings to all the family.

I've never heard of Donna, or this channel before, and I'm not a quilter, or crafter; I found this video due to it appearing in a news article, but I watched the whole video, and I want to pass on my deep condolences, and say what a light Donna seemed to be from just watching her on that short video at the start. She seems to have brought a lot of joy to the people who followed her, and to be so loved by you and your family. I'm sure her loss will be felt greatly for many, many years 💔

My condolences to you, Matt, and your beautiful family. I have watched some of Jordan's videos, and I have learnt from her as well. She will forever be in your heart and minds. With every fabric chosen, every cut, and every stitch sewn. She is with you and yours, always and forever more. 🩷

Matt thank you for sharing your words and pictures with us. It must have been incredibly difficult but know that so many of us loved this beautiful woman we never met. Peace to you all. ❤

Matt, James, and Jordan family, please accept my deepest condolences. Donna is someone every quilter on YouTube knows and appreciates. Your contribution to the quilting world will continue for years to come, and the next generation of quilters will benefit from the skills Donna shared with all of us. While we are, of course, strangers, we feel like we are a small part of the Jordan family and we will mourn with you. Peace to you all.

I feel like I just lost one of my best friends. I began watching Donna during the pandemic and last year i watched all of the videos from the very beginning of them. I have missed seeing her the last few months since she had the 2024 recap videos. We, her viewers, are all better for having learned quilting from her. My deepest sympathies to you Matt, your family, and your staff. You are all in my prayers as you deal with the grief of losing such an amazing woman.

I jumped on the moment the notification popped up on my phone to see what beautiful quilt Donna was going to show us next. I read the title and immediately was gutted. . Donna made you feel like you knew her. She shared her beautiful smile, her knowledge, amazing skills and tips. Even as a beginner she made me feel like I could pull off whatever she was making. I learned so much. What a legacy she’s left to all us quilters. Condolences to the whole Jordan Family and staff of Jordan Fabrics. What a loss. ❤ Thanks Donna, RIP. 😢

Like many have said, I never met her, but I felt like she was a big part of my life as a quilter. She will be so sorely missed. Thank you Matt and James for sharing this last video of Donna doing what she loved.

I learned so much as a beginner quilter from this gracious lady. She presented like a professional and gave instruction clearly and simply. I watched her for hours while I recovered from a Mastectomy and the death of my 3 year old granddaughter. Quilting was my therapy during the years of grief following so much loss. Thank you, Donna and family for your influence and guidance to me while I produced many, many quilts. Each one was given away to my loved ones with a little piece of my hearts sadness. She will be missed. ❤️

I hope you all realize just how much Donna has meant to all of us who watched and learned from her videos.❤ Her gentle mannerisms and calm voice made new concepts and patterns seem somehow easier. She will be missed like a friend by so many of us who never even had the joy met her in person.

“Hi, I’m Donna Jordan from Jordan Fabrics” has become one of my favorite comfort phrases. Donna’s videos have become a happy place for me. And my children (ages 7-17) even watched her videos beside me. We are so grateful for the goodness she added to the world. We thank you, Matt and family, for sharing Donna with us and pray for comfort for you all.

This was such a shock! I feel like I've lost my best friend in quilting! Donna was such a blessing and a wonderful teacher. She enabled me to begin my quilting journey for real back in 2014. She made me realize I could do it without fear of doing it wrong. I love you, Donna, and will miss your smiling face and happy character so very much! Rest in peace. May God bless and keep your family in his wonderfully caring arms.

Oh my heart aches!! I discovered her videos during the pandemic. I bought a sewing machine and learned to quilt during that rough time. Donna was such a wonderful teacher. I have enjoyed all her videos and made many of the quilts along with her!! I will miss her so much I will be praying for your entire family ❤
