Roller coaster actually pull you downward faster than you would fall naturally, so you get negative Gs, meaning that it feels as if gravity is acting in the opposite direction.

i'm only scared of the rides because of this feeling it’s not me being scared of heights or nothing. I mean I can go on extreme rides like the spinning ones like the ones at the fairs where u spin so fast you feel upside down or the ride at epcot mission space, I love those rides but I just can't take the feeling of my stomach when you drop

It's called airtime. It is a very simple concept. It is most strongly felt by a sudden downward motion

When I go on those pirate ship rides at theme parks I definitely get that weightless feeling in my stomach, but every time I feel it I laugh. I don't know why though, maybe that's why they call it a tickling feeling in your stomach.
