I worked 3rd shift at a automotive parts manufacturer. We was required to work the extra hour in the fall. The time clocks had automatically reset and if we left we would get a 1/2 point for leaving early.
I wasn't there in the spring to know if they got the hour back. But i was told it didn't work that way per the company. No one worked on the following Sunday.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 I've been asking that same question to myself for decades and I've always gotten the same answer because at that time of the morning you can be in 2 different time spaces at the same time and not have to worry about being late or early
