This collection is absolutely insane. So many keys and it hits all the eras! Holy cowww.

If you want to get into the hobby and sell books, grabbing collections like these are always going to command a higher price. Clearly this was a family that loved collecting, knew what they were collecting, and what to hold onto. They probably had fillers too but these were the high in demand books. So you have to treat them with respect and honesty when saying hey, I buy to potentially resell so this is what I can offer. I don't think it was high at all, guy was happy with what he got and nobody what you paid, those books still have AT LEAST that value. You get to have more fun by potentially making more, either long term or by preserving the books in a slab. It's a win win for you, for the seller, and for the community when they get the opportunity to add these to their collection. And that's why this hobby is awesome.

That's a pretty sweet collection. You make a great point there that I had never thought about. The added costs associated with selling the books you picked up. In the long run it can pay off, but not always, and short term, you're out a lot of time and money. Good luck to you, sir. Awesome video!
