Transporter T5 with golf 4 pd130 asz engine swap

After doing my own conversion with some guidance from Tony, I asked him to sort the mapping out on the van only to discover 2 injectors were dead. Tony managed to sort my mapping and injectors in less than 4 hours. Can’t recommend enough definitely knows what he’s on about when it comes to these conversions and anything VW!

Hi Mate i made this engine swop with ADT 1.9 tdi

And i took my computer box.for a bypass which is for golf 5 tdi

But the car keeps on cranking but with Quick start it does start without higgle

Hi did you have any issues with the oil filter housing on the mk4 golf asz i heard sticks out too far and will hit the rad.. in the t5 chassis will the axb oil filter housing fit the golf 4 asz engine? Thanks

Just about to do this conversion. Current T5 has the AXC and have bought an ASZ complete with gearbox. Question is what clutch/DMF to I use ? Will the old gearbox fit the ASZ engine ?

Hi, from reading the comments I can tell your the man for this question. I have a bora with a Asz I got the opportunity to buy a t5 2.5 with a blown engine. Is there a huge amount of work to do this swap? I have a good amount of mechanical knowledge. Thanks

Hi there I have t5 engine problems still start drive but smoking a lot with engine oil and temp light in when revved will the asz engine fit in and what about crank timing

Hi ive just swapped out my t5 1.9 AXB engine for the fabia vrs ASZ.. left the asz injectors in & used my t5 turbo & gearbox but woul like to get it mapped to get the potential out of the new engine.. can you help? Thanks

Hi Tony Does the Original Gearbox bolt straight to the ASZ also anything need doing like Crank sensor etc?
