Pam, the pointy sticks of the tomato cages are dangerous to have up. You can use pool noodle pieces or small rubber balls on the stick end to assure a child or older does not poke their eye out.

Flipping the cage and securing with garden stakes is a great hack for when I can't find the inverted cages. Thanks!

We got a notification of a freeze here in Connecticut. I only planned a few plants but if I can find a beef steak, it’s all over. My husband can have his Roma which is ok for add ins and whatever. When I slice my first beef beef steak, it like new life and oh good brown bread and good Mayo and I can enjoy my weeding and good fertilizer.❤

I also plant my plants in containers because I have bad knees and can’t dig in the ground anymore.. I’ve never put the cages upside down, but I might give that a try.. thanks for your tips🥰

You see the red tomato cage she has? You can flip it upside down and trim the legs down and use it as a potted plant holder
