Pimientos de Padrón are just one way Spaniards get their daily vegetable intake! These green peppers, which come from the north of Spain, are fried in olive oil and finished with sea salt. Simple ingredients and preparation are the backbone of Spanish cooking, and this tapa is no exception. This is a traditional tapa to order while in Madrid, but be careful! While most of them aren’t spicy, once in a while you’ll find a hot one!
