Starbucks workers strike at 100 US stores

Starbucks corporate's response to unionization has been reprehensible, if not outright illegal. I will only visit unionized Starbucks locations and will otherwise get my coffee from one of the many local coffee houses nearby

I need to know what are the working conditions, what is the salary, what are the scheduling issues?

"I am ideally scheduled to work 20 to 25 hours; I'm getting ten." Guess what? Ideally workers who work 35 to 40 hours are generally protected by a ratified union contract and those who work part-time are not subject to any bargaining power in a union contract. Now if by chance you are protected as a part-time employee, which may still be unlikely, wait until you get your tab for UNION DUES. UNIONS ARE GREAT, BUT THEY AIN'T FREE.
