For me, it's hard to believe that iconic image wasn't arranged! It's like, they're in sync perfectly! Still love it, though! 😁

I remember some guy in the early 70s pointing out about 50 hintd on the abbey road album cover thst paul was dead. He was going on about those dots on the wall and prime numbers. I asked him if he ever considered the possibility that paul was still alive and he was actually the dead guy.

Around that time there was a big rumor that Paul McCartney had died in a car crash, and they found a look-alike/sound alike from Canada whose name was Billy Shears. They use that name on Sergeant Pepper. I was about 16 when this album came out, and there were a lot of so-called clues about the death of Paul. In this picture, John is the preacher, Ringo the mortician, Paul is dead, and George is the gravedigger. Also, Paul is not wearing shoes because many people are buried without shoes. Also, he is the only one out of step. It was kind of an interesting time. You would play their records backwards and hear messages. If you listen at the end of 'I Am the Walrus', (I think) you will hear 'I buried Paul.' of course I don't believe Paul McCartney died, but it was a very interesting hoax. The Beatles always denied having anything to do with it.

In my opinion The album cover would have looked even better if the weather was cloudy

Wish other things from this time period were documented as well as this. Can you imagine looking at the behind the scenes for a Sergio Leone film?

It is clear that this is not the real Dirk McQuickly. The subtle hints give it away. Like the trousers.

the question is, who is the man in the distance next to the car?

I aways wondered why Paul was barefoot? Paul was "clean shaven"because of his recent wedding with Linda. He was barefoot because he was the tallest "Beatle" (5'11" )by one inch over John and George. "Ringo" wearing boots 👢 all made It look more even or symmetrical looking while crossing the street for the album picture. Then there was the "Paul Is Dead factor" where Paul was in a cheap conservative suit, looking very pale. All suggesting that "Paul Is Dead"? All of these "Mind Games" went Into this Famous Photograph. "The Beatles" were always f**king with your head!...."Marketing

The reason behind Paul not wearing any shoes is because he died in a car crash years before. Believe it or not.
