How to Build a Scheme in Madden 25 part 2 (The Value of a Good Screen)

Madden 25 Building a Scheme 101 Part 2, Gen 4 Madden 25 & Gen 3 Madden 25
Screens are a great way to compliment our ground attack. They are fast, quick plays that can often lead to 5+ yards and even more often really big plays against an aggressive defense. Once our opponent slows down the run we will sneak in a quick screen pass and really get them frustrated after they just starting figuring out the run now they have to worry about the screen.

Types of screens
Bubble Screen
You have to give bubble screens a shot in this years game as they are the most consistent screen play and its the most easy to run screen of them all. The only reads you need to make are presnap read how many defenders are on that side of the field and if anyone is over the intended WR, if not its most of the time a sure sign your gonna get some positive yards. You should let the cpu make the catch and then take over and get some YAC. You should expect 5-15 yards on these with potential big plays depending on the defense and how well the blocks hold.

MakeShift Screen
Put your guys on routes that will have them as blockers for the intended target or get them downfield and out of the way to create some space for your target to get a big play. Depending on the formation your target will be a HB or FB or TE but usually its the HB and makeshift screens are very quick plays that can destroy a blitzing defense or overcommitted defense.

HB Slip Screen
These screens work stock you can also try changing the route to a flat or wheel but i prefer just running with the stock screen. The delay screen works sometimes on Gen 3 but its not something I would do on Gen 4.

Other Screens
There are other screen plays in the game that can be effective you will have to try them out for your formation and see if its effective
