The optimum level of vitamin D in our blood should be around 80-100 Ng/mL according to some new research. Therefore taking vitamin D less than 6000 IU /day won't be enough to reach those levels unless you're living in tropical country and do sunbathing for at least an hour /day wearing short clothes, no cloudy, no pollution, and etc

I just got vitamin D results from my doctor and I was 23ng/mL . They are saying I’m normal and don’t need supplementation but I am going to take 5000iu a day to get those levels up and retest later to see where I’m at . I am 220 pounds . Thank you for the informative video

Last year, after supplementing for many years at 1k-2k D3 per day, I was about 50. I upped the dose to 4k-5k for a few months, and also introduced K2 at 200 per day, and, still, after a few months of these changes, my most recent test was 38. Don't know if the k2 brought it down, even though I raised the D3. This was Quest. But I will test on my own maybe quarterly to track it. I agree. It's so important. Thank you for this video.

Hello David, my son is 12 year and 8 months old and his Vitamin d level is 13.6. Doctor told us to take 2000 IU per day. No idea about the other vitamins that he should take. His symptoms are fatigue, body pain, anxiety, grades have fallen, joint pain. How can he get back his levels up quickly? your reply will be highly appreciated. Thank you!

How long does it take for vitamin d levels to go up? I’m on 50, 000UI weekly D3 and I took 2 doses so far (2weeks) and I still suffer from chronic fatigue that’s affecting my daily life, my levels were 16 before starting the d3.

I live in the Metro Vancouver, Canada area and for the past two years been taking 5000iu vitamin D, 120 mcg vitamin K2 MK7, and 150 mg magnesium. I’m about 155 lb. The vitamin D and magnesium is Jamieson brand. Feel way better than before and generally don’t get sick any more. Standard Blood test was great according to my doctor and showed optimal levels of calcium in my blood but unfortunately it didn’t include my vitamin D level.
