The Fake 1 In 16,777,216 Shiny Pokémon Encounter

MitchOG & KyleAye both encountered two full odds Shiny Pokémon back to back. Finding two full odds Shiny Pokémon at the exact same time is a 1/16.7million event. For this to happen to both streamers back to back is a 1/281,474,976,710,656 event. Someone had to be lying!

man this was a wild time in the community! even though this is insanely rare, we have had multiple trustworthy full odds shiny hunters (blueboyphin, shepard, sabian) who have found BACK TO BACK or rather 2 full odd 1/8192 shinies in the older gens. they are the ones who are truly built different. shiny hunting for clout is cringe. it should be only for fun and its just such a stupid thing to fake lol. great vid, thanks for letting me relive this crazy time

3:38 There's no reason you should be doing this math, as the chance that each streamer had were completely seperate from each other. Sure you can kind of guess the probability of it happening "practically back to back", but the resulting number would be meaningless.

i hope one day something like this will happen for real. i said years ago i wanted a legit double shiny in a horde without the charm in gen 6 but the odds are just that low holy. good video man i thought it was real at first lol

I remember reading a duel platinum nuzlocke where the other person decided to differentiate their screenshots by putting on a code that made every pokemon shiny. lol

People have gotten those odds, though all the time infact there's been people who have done 8192 x 8192

To think these people are the ones that got famous when there's videos on here of people getting actual insane shiny luck. Like two shinies in BW double grass, two shiny starters in HGSS. Those are just some that come to mind, but I know I have seen at least twice of someone with multiple Gameboy SPs getting two shinies one on each console. It's even more insane in those cases because without shiny charm and prior to gen 6 we all know how your odds of getting a shiny were even lower.
But, man, it's really annoying when we get these loser nobody's famous just by faking content.

The meeting of both shinies could only happen once in your entire life, and you saw it with the streamer with the big beard... And it may even be possible that this double shiny is really real, given the amount of people who play pokemon worldwide, probably reaching 17m.
