In game settings it has my wrong “geographical region” is there a way to change that

This doesn't help, i tried buying game pass ultimate it says change your store region to match the region which your payment option was issued, so must the credit card match my actual location? Or must my console be in the same location as my card . This is very annoying and the country im in is not on that list
