End of the Line - Hot Club Of Cowtown LIVE @ Texas Music Cafe

Hot Club of Cowtown was a relatively new band when they appeared at the Texas Music Cafe studio. A few things became quickly clear. First was that they take the Texas Swing style of jazz very seriously. Second was that instrumental mastery was a standard, not a goal. Next that there was nothing particularly modern or innovative in their performances, but there was an honoring of the traditional vocals. While still touring their first CD release it seemed fairly certain they would continue rapidly becoming more successful.

Everyone hoped they wouldn't stop. Appearing on NPR would swell their audience from coast to coast. 20 years on down the road, they are playing busy tour schedules each year to the delight of music fans everywhere.
