A little tip when making channels in plasterboard. Put two blades back to back in the multi tool. Obviously it depends on the the size of the channel but can be useful now and again. Great video as usual 👌🏻

I was waiting to see how you had wired them in?

Seems the sparks I follow all seem to create their own safety problems. You know those two top steps? Read the warning on the second step. It there for a reason.

Do not use the last two steps as you may fall. Look at 4:51, he is on the top step ( which has written on to "no step"), this is an easy point where a wrong lean will create momentum to make him fall.

So get taller ladders

Can’t wait to see the final results, seems a very well thought out product.

Pro tip, set your miter saw at zero, clamp a (empire) square to the fence-parallel to and flush with the blade. Now use the edge of the square parallel to the blade as your new fence, voilà, you can use your miter to cut those types of angles.

Switch position of the square from one side of the blade to the other for left or right angle cut. Also, you’ll notice the little corner of your square is notched at an inside angle almost as if it was designed to work perfectly with the blade on a miter saw for this. Google it if you’re having a hard time picturing.

Looks nice ! You might’ve covered it so apologies if I missed it but how do you make the connections so that they’re not seen? I saw the wire at 8:14 coming out the end but what does that look like when finished, a blank plate housing the connections in the wall?

Brilliant - thank you. Can you give me any advice on how to put LED strip at the top of my cladding above bath...the cladding has already been stuck on and fitted into a top piece, to make it even more difficult is the ceiling is artex so not smooth???

Are these fire regulated? I also want to get these done but slightly afraid my house might fail building regs. So great video

I’ve got loads to do over the weekend I hate cutting it out

I was thinking if the metabo wall chaser could be adapted with tiny circular saw blades one pass two cuts with extraction system

Where do you put the drivers and controllers? Bury them in the wall?

Hi,
What machine are you using for the cutting?

Cracking job that, customers/people just don’t realise how much time goes into this sort of work is the biggest issue! Not had to tackle the plaster in stuff as yet but like the idea…..the strip I’ve used so far seems to have a 5m max length, how do you get round that/round all those bends also? Genuinely curious, I tend to find it fiddly stuff to work with 😂👍🏼

Can you cut fire rated plasterboard?
Looks a smart install

Would you recommend fitting the profiles before plaster boarding or after?

Nice video but you need to tell your guy not to stand on the top of the ladder at 5:14 it's not worth falling off and breaking your back or neck.
