"Ella i jo" is part of our short film programme RESISTENCIAS.
A programme of shorts where we see diverse communities resisting and adapting to the forces of capitalism. Development projects and neighbours pushed out of their homes by the pressures of the touristic bubble shaking Barcelona. The experience of minority groups, Syrian, Romani or Dominican citizens in Catalan communities. Deeply emotional family letters and a Cannes selected short film taking us to 1980s Bilbao, at the height of the Basque conflict, when homosexual love was not allowed. With dignity and melancholy, they are all resisting.
