Efficiency is the Holy grail of BEV. Tesla has focused on it, but Aptera has taken it to a whole new level. Aptera is the only BEV that really makes sense. With the larger battery packs you can actually drive all morning under any conditions at any reasonable speed and fill up over lunch and do the same thing in the afternoon. Never required to charge more than once a day and never for more than an hour.

Love Chris's narration. The slight lowering of pitch and more distinct enunciation are natural effects of spending time in front of a good microphone while wearing headphones.

Back when I did a little radio, nobody believed my "radio voice" and my "real voice" came from the same mouth. It's just that the studio recording environment encourages vocal intimacy: Your own voice is literally in your ears, emphasizing both spoken clarity and a reduction in "mouth noises". The quiet studio, with none of life's normal background noise, encourages both a lower pitch and softer volume. The natural result is a feel of greater depth and emotional content, without "going over the top" with any forced emotionalism.

That's where a good script comes in. The words must roll naturally off the speaker's tongue, with no awkward stumbling (after some rehearsals, of course). Chris has said all the words and phrases in the video script multiple times in multiple places, only this time they were strung together with condensed focus, purpose and structure.

Part of my radio work was reading newspaper articles. There were some journalists who wrote like I spoke, and others whose words were truly hard work for me not to mangle. Both types wrote great articles, but only one type could easily be read aloud (by me reading them "cold", that is, with minimal prep).

This was Chris reading Chris. I hope he does more of this off-camera narration/voice-over going forward. His voice and words really anchor the video animations.

Lol nice voice over; Chris has a good voice for this. These changes will reduce the drag but obviously the need for mirrors (thanks NHTSA) has been a negative. They said the beta was at 0.1285 and I really wonder where they are currently with these optimizations and the unfortunate need for mirrors.

It is refreshing to see a new auto maker like Aptera doing things that make a lot of great sense. Many years ago I was passionate about velomobile design like a tadpole's shape in water. Our aquatic creatures on earth can obviously teach us a lot about fluid dynamics. I have never seen a Sea creature shaped like a box...LOL

It’s great to see fine engineering. Even the major manufacturers do this. What the majors do not do is produce anything without compromising for what they perceive as marketability. It will be wonderful to see Aptera in production. True engineering without compromise. There will be one in my driveway, sunning itself to full charge and raising the bar for the automotive industry.

I posted a comment earlier expressing my concern about the motors being in the wheels, as "fender benders" are common. The post was taken down almost immediately!
