Normani ACTUALLY Planning a Tour? Still Delusional...

Normani Announces a Tour… Is This Actually Real?
Hey guys, what’s up?
So, I was scrolling through Twitter, and I saw a post talking about a tour from Normani. At first, I thought it was from one of those parody pop culture accounts, but it was from a legit source, Pop Base. My immediate reaction was, “No, no, no, no!” I figured maybe they got it wrong because that does happen sometimes. We all make mistakes.
But I just couldn’t believe that Normani or anyone from her team would actually put this out there. Do they know how much of a joke this makes her look? How ridiculous and delusional it would seem if she actually said something like that?
Well, it turns out it’s true. Normani had an interview with Us Magazine and responded to a question about her music where she literally said that “they” were thinking about it and that there are plans for a tour.
Girl, who is coming to see Normani? Seriously, I want to know. That album went nowhere, the singles weren’t promoted, and there are no music videos out. Like, on what grounds is she planning a tour? Girl, what is this delusion?
At this point, it feels like she’s just saying things, the same way she’s been talking about the album for years.
Honey, your career is struggling. Get some buzz going around a new song, and then we can talk about a tour.
Realistically, a handful of people might go see her perform, mostly for her old stuff. Honestly, I would go and see her because there are people who want to see her win. But let’s think about the optics here.
Can Normani really afford to be the internet’s punching bag again, to become a laughing stock on social media when the arenas end up mostly empty? Or worse, performing in something the size of a school auditorium?
And who is even investing in this tour? That’s a much bigger question.
Normani, girl, c’mon, don’t do this to yourself. Maybe focus on modeling—you don’t have to do the music thing if it’s not working out. It’s okay to move on.
