PS3 3D Glasses Won't Charge or Turn On? The Fix

If you can't get your Playstation 3 3D glasses to synch with your 3D TV or can't even get them to charge (the red light doesn't come on when charging) then there may be a very simple fix.

I know this is an old video but I completely forgot about that ridiculous on/off switch when I dug these out from years in storage. I'm sure others also thought you could just long press the top button like just about everything else on planet earth! Thanks Chris, you saved a rare 3D night.

Its weird but mine were switched to the off position since they were new. Switched to on and tried charging but nada. Ive never heard of lithium batts going poo like that. In all 4 pairs i have. All are in mint condition and were never used, stored properly in off position yet the cells still died apparently. I thought only nimh batts did that.

So what if I have it plugged into the TV's USB port, the battery switch in the ON position and there's still no charging light?

I tried this on a new pair and it didn't work work. This didn't work on the two that came with the TV either and those are used.

Update :bought another new pair and had the same issue no charge even with these instructions. These glasses were made very poorly.

Mine sadly still wont charge, I think they just hit there lifes end.. Actually had no idea that on off switch was there tho ! So that helps for when I replace the battery

Bought mine used. No instructions. Sure, I could have read online somewhere but, I'd rather hear the instructions then read them. And yes, I can read. lol

Wow what miss leading title my glasses don’t turn on or charge with the switch on just blinking light. You do nothing what’s so ever to fix the glasses! Your just charging them. What’s the next video how to Chang a light bulb

Thank you! I just got back into PS3 gaming and wanted to play some older 3D games. I could not remember how to charge them. Might watch Man of Steel next
Edit: The light was on for a bit, but then went blank and now won't come back up. Maybe the battery is dead? Not sure where to find it on those glasses though.

I have bought 3 pairs of these glasses now. I just got in a brand new pair and yet again, still won’t charge. The red light won’t even come on!
