Thanks for this. I don't like using Kali because out of the 400+ tools that come with it, I only need about 10. I don't like having all of that extra overhead and such so I usually just use Ubuntu and then install the tools that I need manually.;

I use kali and ubuntu separate. but why can't you just add the kali repo's to ubuntu and download anything you want?
