I clean my toaster after every use
It has 2 door at the bottom for easy access. I use a dedicaated long half inch paint brush to "swip" the crumbs off. The thought of putting it away with crumbs does something to me. You are hilarious, love your videos ❤❤

Every toaster I’ve had has a slide-out, kind of like a drawer, on the bottom. The tab to pull it out just blends into the bottom of my toaster on the back. Check it out and see if you can find it. It makes cleaning it super easy.

Omg - I’m so old school, but I ❤️ your approach to catch all those crumbles from the bread, etc! I make our own white bread (machine mixing) and it is so good tasting but SO CRUSTY and flaky! My toaster would have caught fire by now and burned down the house if I don’t get it cleaned out every week or so, even though it’s just me and my husband in our 80s. Love your stuff! ❤❤❤

My toddler has proven to me that we can dump an entire glass of water into our toaster (while it was unplugged!) and about 24 hours later it works perfectly. And then continues working for the foreseeable future. Do with that information what you will but it's the cleanest my toaster has been in a while.

Yours is a Great idea.
We keep our in a drawer, and it sits on a dollar tree cookie sheet. I bought an extension cord to keep from having to move the toaster each time. so all we have to do is pull the drawer out, plug it in each time we use it.
It actually works so perfect for us.

We haven't used a toaster in probably over a decade - toaster oven all the way! (It helps that it has a slide-out tray lol)

Lol. I use a shallow tray for the crumbs. But it doesn't get cleaned often.

I watched the full video of this, and I was crying with laughter. I swear half the UK heard me laughing 😂😂

This is so me. And the shaking part? Absolutely relatable 😂

I keep my toaster on a small cutting board to catch the crumbs the crumb-catcher doesn't catch. It makes cleaning it on a regular basis much easier

Lol, I clean mine once a month. I about died laughing when you said put the leftover crumbs on a casserole.

So glad you got a new one. The trays should have come out very easily...but a full poptart would jam it for sure

This is painful to watch because it’s all too relatable 😭

Cas This is when we buy a new toaster and vow to clean the crumbs more often. Not super safe to disassemble. 😅 Those little drawers should open easily.

🤣🤣 I don't clean my toaster as often as I should. But my old toaster had trays that just slide out underneath. My newer one just has a tab that clips and folds open underneath. It's much easier than shaking it out 🤣🤣🤣 you kill me and I absolutely love you

I clean mine like every other day! It’s weird how much I hate crumbs!

I had to giggle because as you were shaking it - the crumb tray started to jiggle out... 😂😂😂 if you take the trays out it might be easier to jiggle the crumbs out

I shake mine upside down like that over the sink every time I use it. So rarely have to actually "clean" it.
