This performance is stellar. To be able to sing a song with such passion 20 years later in a rejuvenated version, it's really exhilerating to watch.

People always use the term, "prime" when referring to an artist in their younger years, but to me that is a music critic's term for when they are to lazy to examine an artist's body of work over an entire career. Lara has proven over the years just how much a great artist handles changes and struggles throughout a long career, but still maintains the highest standards of quality performance. Maturity, to critics, is a bad thing. But that is because critics have a hard time understanding how art and artists evolve over time. They only concern themselves with relevance to current trends rather than growth over decades of experience. At least that's what over fifty years in the music business has taught me.

Wow. Stunning version of this great song. And I am blown away by her comment that she has known that "It" is singing; i.e., her higher self, not her ego-based self. I now understand why she is so compelling as a performer -- she is allowing the absolute highest aspect of herself to come through. It explains why we see her sometimes needing a moment to recover after finishing a performance, and why we are all drawn to that -- it is what we all are meant to be doing in whatever our chosen mode of expression is. Brava, Lara!!

Her very best version of this song was during the 2001 concert at the "Zenith" concert hall in Paris, because of the emotion it contained. But, this is certainly also a very nice version!

This is definitely one of my favorite versions, i just love the jazzy sound and the band is fantastic. I've never understood what Lara is saying here 3:10, but these are wonderful words☺️.
