Elena, User Support Officer at Mercator Ocean International explains how to start with Jupyter Notebook Environment in order to create and run your first Jupyter Notebook in order to manipulate the data from the Copernicus Marine Service.
The Copernicus Marine Service provides state-of-the-art information available on the global ocean (worldwide coverage) and 6 European seas, based on the combination of space and in situ observations, and their assimilation into 3D models (eg: temperature, salinity, currents, sea ice, sea level, wind and biogeochemical parameters etc.). CMEMS allows any user to DISCOVER, VIEW (see online tutorials) and DOWNLOAD (see online tutorial) any product in the catalogue.
