Good movie, well done, but director Hathaway is doing it by the numbers, the savvy movie buff can predict most everything that is coming.
But that doesn't matter, it's solid Saturday afternoon at the movies fare.
Broderick Crawford, one of the greatest hell raisers in Hollywood history, the real deal tough guy, glad to see him here.
Crrawford and Lon Chaney would enter a joint and like in the Old West, other guys would drift out before they tied one on.
Bruce Willis and his macho tough guy act was a farce by comparison, his constant strutting and flexing on talk shows pure affectation, he'd have gotten
eaten alive on Hay street or in Newark back in the day.

Too bad they didn't have Green Berets back in those days. They would have been more effective than those US soldiers on constabulary duty.
