You know what the problem is, We keep electing the same exact people who have been aware of these problems for decade's. No Mayor, No city council, ho have lived in these Detroit home's will ever solved the issue Because, they aren't trying. They are waiting for the citizens to die out of these neighborhoods, There are literally whole streets of abandoned home's no one on the blocks period right off Gratiot Ave. But, We blacks live in the area. They continue to send these cards in the mail about purchasing side lots so they know space is over here. No big box stores no major grocery stores, etc. We have go the Suburbs to spend our money. Detroit has a annual Budget. All goes everywhere else except where black voter's live. And, they have the audacity to step up on our broken porches and hand you a vote for me card. Year after year, election after election the same and some different liars. Disgusting is all politicians are. There is and election here in Detroit August, And, I'm spreading it far and wideon every social media site I'm on. What has this one or that one done since they have been in office. Now M L Elrick is running for City council, Oh really. I've only seen you running down black politicians when you were on the news. We already have Dugging, I guess since many White's live downtown you fit in now.

Did these people seriously buy homes in known flooded areas? I'm sorry this is happening but I bet more so than not, home buyers were made aware of the flooding that occurs in Dearborn. They bought the house anyway...
