Foreign Relations are based on interests and not values. ABC of foreign relations, something maybe the democrats should look up. By the way these pics of prisoners being caned is from Indonesia and not Saudi Arabia.

The two countries share common interests and goals. It is true there are some disagreements, but they can be solved and won’t affect the long relationship

Both countries need each other and many are willing this relation to be weaken or end. However, the US and Saudi Arabia have always found a way to continue to be allies

I think saudi is becoming strong enough not do depend on the us, every 4 years they have to kiss the new president ass and their agenda they got sick of it

And finally, a nice and fair report - although there is very little wrong information For example - human rights are not bad here - and (real) women's rights are better than America For example - the salaries of women and men are equal for fifty and sixty years

America needs a smart leader who knows how to make allies to focus on Russia 🇷🇺, China 🇨🇳, and India 🇮🇳

It’s not how oil prices directly effect the US, but how it will spark an economic crisis in Europe, which in turn will impact the US

It's not about America depending on oil. It's about the Petrodollar diminishing. As a number one reserve currency, the dollar will get weaker and weaker until USA will no longer can print free money.
When the host mention human rights, immediately "western media bias" pops in my mind. Unbiased media is hard to come by these days

The need Saudi for petro dollar index, if that falls then US would be in a pretty pickle.

I’m sure there is somehow a better way of making both sides of the argument and all involved at peace with the decisions being made and how we go forward that doesn’t rely on any other country for anything, that doesn’t contaminate water, soil, air and cause damaging effects to people, children, future generations, animals and the ecosystem. What good is money and the economy when everything is compromised and stripped of the safety and sustainability of precious untainted resources including any living being needed to keep the whole thing together. You leave out key important facts about the consequences of fracking for the sake of energy independence and the economy. Yes, energy independence and self sustainability as a country and world is important as well as the economy but you can’t ignore how the current ideas of handling such issues isn’t particularly good for anyone whether animal or human. There has to be a cleaner way that doesn’t cause damage which devalues people’s land and property which doesn’t help the housing and homeless crisis either. That’s not worshipping anything. That’s being smart about protecting everything that is so important to sustain our lives and our environment. I’m not on either side of the aisle either. Saving the economy at the expense of exploiting and poisoning land, water, air, people and the environment is just not the way to go. There has to be another way.
