Beyond the Life You Know - Darkest Hour Expert+ Full Band Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock

Well looks like that's all the GHDLC. Ever since November of 2008, I've consistently uploaded all the songs released at 2 in the morning. I would wake up around 1:30 and wait for the songs to come up and then I'd set up my little (and VERY trusty) Gamebridge and have these little 100ish mb files I'd render out in Windows Movie Maker let them upload while I go to school, hoping copyrights wouldn't catch up to me! They often would.
Of course It started as only guitar because I didn't really know very many people, let alone in the dlc video community. I was inspired to do this for eh, various reasons.
At first, I started doing this because of the songs coming out at the time (Nirvana, the Killers, Racontuers, etc) and I was in this major Youtube phase where under another, non-elison account, I put out full combo videos of GH:A and GH:WT, but yeah, it got shut down pretty quick.
Believe it or not, there was a time where I didn't suck at rhythm games and played them quite frequently!
But then I noticed some posts on Scorehero talking about you know, nobody doing DLC for Guitar Hero and I was like why not? I mean, I like making videos, nobody really does it all (usually singles) and it's only five dollars a week. I wipe my ass with five dollars (intentional A&tC reference ftw)
I really enjoyed watching npeaen's videos. When I first discovered them I was like WHAAAAAAt and found them to be an invaluable source of the decisions of what songs were good to play or not. I sat down for like four hours and watched every single one of them. It was awesome.
I also really enjoyed Zygni's reviews with his guest reviewers. Those were awesome, I occasionally even go back and watch those sometime! You guys should too, those were the golden years of rhythm games.
But anyway, I was only sixteen at the time though and didn't really have anything else to do (coupled with the fact I often have trouble sleeping), so I also did it for fun and to be introduced into new music, which I'm kind of glad I did, although admittedly I hardly listen to any of the bands introduced to me through Guitar Hero.
It kept going like this for a few months and going into December of 2009, I began doing full band videos with the Indie pack with Dogmatic and friends! It was then that I started doing full band videos, also because there was Kingsy around with his awesome double bass skillz, amongst various others. Hell, there are so many people I could probably list here but I think I'll spare you the mountain of text (owait), and since then, there's been only one or two instances in which all portions of a chart weren't showed at once (STP pack and something else probably)
I haven't missed a single week since the first inception of an elisoncrz video, but I can recall, off the top of my head, probably three instances in which I probably would've/could've/should'be stopped, but nope! You guys are just that important ;)
I'm not counting weeks like Disney or Lenny Kravitz where the songs weren't available before I had to go to school. I'm not THAT obsessive BUT EVEN THEN I did them first thing when I got home and on the same day. i r srs gais
Had it not been for the support of all my "fans" (it makes me really happy to see grayed out "Elisoncrz"' "thenewnoelison" "elfson" in people's subscription boxes) I probably would've stopped this years ago. I really appreciate it.
I'll keep trying to do Rock Band dlc as long as it's financially and sociably viable for both myself and the community. I wouldn't make these videos if I didn't like them, so I hope that at least for some of you, these videos I've made over the years have helped you make an informed decision regarding downloadable song purchases =)
